Mixed Berry & Banana Puree

ripe banana, chop finely
4 Tbsp
purified water
½ Tbsp
ground rice

berries (fresh or frozen), pick from a mix of blueberries, raspberries or strawberries
In a small saucepan bring water to boil.
Add ingredients and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Puree mixture and allow to cool.
Mixed Vegetable Puree
½ cup
mixed vegetables: choose between pumpkin, carrot, sweet potato, peas, broccoli, spinach or zucchini.
Purified water or breast milk
Steam vegetables then puree until smooth with either water or breast milk.
Allow to cool.
Banana Oat Porridge
150ml
purified water
1 small
ripe banana
2 tsp
finely chopped sun-dried sultanas, apricots or apple (opt)
½ Tbsp
finely ground oats
Add all ingredients in a small saucepan.
Bring to boil and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Puree until smooth consistency, adding more water if needed.
Pea & Vegetable Puree
½
carrot, finely chopped
½
sweet potato, finely chopped
2 Tbsp
peas (fresh or frozen)
2 Tbsp
corn kernels
Steam vegetables then puree until smooth consistency, adding a little purified water if needed.
Lentil & Pumpkin Mash
4 Tbsp
mashed pumpkin
4 Tbsp
red lentils
1 Tbsp
grated cheddar cheese (opt)
Cook lentils in boiling water for 25 minutes, until tender.
Puree together with steamed mashed pumpkin and cheese.
Allow to cool.
